High efficiency Air Heaters for GLC Belgium

Ghent Logistic Campus equipped with high efficiency air heaters

On behalf of Abutriek Services nv, Mark Climate Technology supplied the climate equipment for the Ghent Logistic Campus in Evergem (Belgium). No fewer than 14 halls will be equipped with a total of 73 GS+ air heaters and 98 Ecofan destratification fans. The Mark GS+ units are condensing units with an efficiency higher than 106% (lower value). Heat is generated via a modulating premixburner which results in very low gas consumption. The GS+ is suitable in many situations due to its extensive capacity range from 13,6 to 142,2 kW. The GS+ is designed to heat garages, warehouses, distribution centres and showrooms.

Optimal heat distribution

Mark Climate Technology recommends an ECOFAN W destratification fan with every air heater. A combination of these products provides optimum comfort and good heat distribution within the room. It is known that hot air rises which means that an air heater requires more time to heat up a room.  A thermostatically-controlled ECOFAN transports the warm blanket under the roof to the occupied area. As a result, the room heats up more quickly, and gas consumption can in some cases be reduced by up to 30%.
