Industrial spaces place high demands on climate control. Large halls, high ceilings and varying occupancy require reliable and energy-efficient climate solutions. Mark Climate Technology provides sustainable heating solutions for industrial buildings, combined with smart ventilation and cooling solutions. Since 1945, we have been developing solutions that combine comfort and efficiency with care for people and the environment.
For industrial applications and large halls, Mark supplies, amongst other things:
These systems are suitable for both new and existing buildings and can be tailored to the actual use of the space.

Gas-fired air heaters such as the GS+ and GSX are a tried-and-tested solution for heating large industrial spaces. They deliver high output quickly, are robustly built and are ideal for industrial premises. Thanks to their high efficiency and modulating control, the space is heated efficiently and comfortably, with low operating costs and reliable performance.
Water-fed air heaters are ideal when used in conjunction with a central heating boiler or with sustainable heat sources such as heat pumps. These units provide even heat distribution and, depending on the model, can also be used for cooling. This makes them a future-proof solution for industrial halls where flexibility, comfort and energy efficiency are key priorities.

Warm air rises. That sounds logical, but in large industrial halls it often means heat under the roof and cold on the floor. That is why Mark Climate Technology recommends combining air heaters with an Ecofan recirculation fan.
The thermostatically controlled Ecofan actively recirculates the warm air from under the roof back into the production area. The result:

Sometimes only a small part of a large building is used by staff. In that case, it’s a waste to heat the whole building! Zone heating using radiant heaters is a suitable solution in such situations. Mark Climate Technology’s black-tube radiators and radiant panels can be installed wherever heat is required – a system also known as infrared heating.
When using radiant heating, users feel comfortable even at a lower room temperature. Thanks to the short warm-up time and lower room temperature, radiant heaters can achieve significant energy savings. Furthermore, this form of ceiling heating saves a great deal of space and heats a room without draughts, dust or air movement. The floor is also heated by the radiation, which provides extra comfort.

Industrial buildings such as factory halls and distribution centres often have several large doorways. A major drawback of this is that warm indoor air escapes outside and cold outside air blows in, resulting in additional heating costs. To prevent this, Mark Climate Technology offers various types of air curtains in its range.
Air curtains, also known as thermal curtains, create a barrier between the cold outside air and the warm inside air. Upon entering the room, visitors immediately experience a comfortable temperature. They also prevent dust, unpleasant odours and insects from entering from outside. This enables businesses to keep their doors open in an energy-efficient manner.

Demand for electric heating for industrial buildings, sustainable heating and gas-free heating for industrial buildings is growing rapidly. Mark Climate Technology is responding to this trend with fully electric solutions and heat pump systems for industrial environments.
Depending on the situation, the following may be possible:

Mark Climate Technology offers the Tanner MDE electric air heaters for the fully electric heating of industrial premises. These units are suitable for situations where gas is not available or where gas-free construction is required. They provide instant heat, are easy to install and can be precisely controlled, making them particularly suitable for small to medium-sized spaces.
The Infra ER electric infrared heaters are ideal for targeted heating of workstations or specific zones. These heaters warm people and objects directly, without first heating the entire space. This ensures a high level of comfort with low energy consumption, particularly in high-ceilinged halls or spaces with limited occupancy.

The Mistral MDX heat pump system has been developed for the energy-efficient heating and cooling of industrial spaces such as industrial halls, warehouses and workshops. The system combines an air-to-air heat pump with a compact air heater and delivers high performance, even at low outdoor temperatures. This makes the Mistral MDX suitable as a sustainable primary heating system for a wide range of industrial applications.
Thanks to its high efficiency and the ability to heat and cool using a single system, the Mistral MDX helps to reduce energy costs and lower CO₂ emissions. The system can be used flexibly as a fully electric solution or as part of a hybrid installation, making it a future-proof step towards gas-free heating in industry.

Would you like to reduce the gas consumption of your industrial unit, workshop or warehouse without compromising on comfort? Then choose our hybrid heating solution with the smart Hybrid Controller. This allows you to combine an existing or new gas-fired or electric air heater with the energy-efficient Mistral MDX heat pump system.
The heat pump provides sustainable base heating, whilst the air heater automatically kicks in when outside temperatures drop. This means you always benefit from an optimal indoor climate and significant energy savings.
A good indoor climate in industrial buildings requires more than just heating. Ventilation is essential for comfort, productivity and air quality. Air handling units and heat recovery units supply fresh air whilst retaining heat from the exhaust air. Combined with smart air distribution, this creates an efficient and stable climate control system, even in large spaces.
Mark Climate Technology offers a wide range of air handling solutions that seamlessly meet the specific requirements of industrial environments. At the heart of the range is the Eurovent-certified Airstream, an energy-efficient, high-quality air handling unit which, thanks to its certification, guarantees reliable performance and optimal heat recovery. For projects with unique ventilation requirements, bespoke air handling units are available, fully tailored to the process requirements and room conditions.

For industrial premises where a centralised duct system is less suitable or desirable, the VertiFlow offers an efficient alternative. This decentralised heat recovery unit ensures a continuous supply of fresh outdoor air and the extraction of contaminated indoor air, whilst recovering heat from the extracted air. Thanks to its decentralised design, which requires just a single roof opening, there is no need for an extensive ductwork system. This simplifies installation and saves costs. With its high energy efficiency and modular flexibility, the VertiFlow is particularly well-suited to production halls, workshops and logistics environments where comfort, air quality and low energy consumption must go hand in hand.
No two industrial spaces are the same. That is why we always consider:
On that basis, we recommend a suitable combination of heating, ventilation and control systems.
