Mistral MDX heat pump systems are specially designed for energy-efficient heating and cooling of large spaces. The combination of an air-to-air heat pump (outdoor unit) with a compact air heater/cooler (indoor unit) ensures excellent performance. Thanks to the extensive adjustment options, the system can be fully adapted to the use of the room and the wishes of the users. Thanks to the long available pipe lengths and the wide temperature range, the Mistral MDX has many application possibilities. The units are available with both R32 and R410a as refrigerant.
The hybrid controller is applicable to both new and existing Mark’s gas-fired air heaters. Whether it is a modern high efficiency heater or an older type such as the GSD, the Hybrid Controller ensures that both systems work together efficiently with the Mistral MDX heat pump system. In this way, you can easily make your existing installation more sustainable without major modifications, or immediately opt for a future-proof hybrid solution with maximum energy efficiency in new construction.
In addition to gas-fired units, the Hybrid Controller can also be used in combination with a Mark electric air heater, such as the Tanner MDE. In this arrangement, the Mistral MDX heat pump forms the sustainable basic heating system, while the electric heater automatically steps in when additional power is needed. This creates a completely gas-free, flexibly controllable heating solution that fits perfectly with the energy transition and the desire to reduce CO₂ emissions.
